Overview
DayRate is designed to work privately and offline. The app does not require an account, does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data with the developer.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app stores information you enter, including rate profiles, workdays, jobs, expenses, and app settings, locally on your device. This information is used only to provide the app’s calculation and record-keeping features. The developer does not receive or have access to this information.
In-App Purchases
Purchases and purchase restoration are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Apple may process purchase and device information under Apple’s own privacy policy.

Sharing
DayRate lets you create and share a text summary using Apple’s system share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you initiate the action and choose a destination. Information sent to another app or service is governed by that app or service’s privacy practices.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
DayRate does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app does not track you across apps or websites and does not use data for targeted advertising.
Data Retention and Deletion
Information you enter remains on your device until you delete the relevant records or remove the app and its associated data using the controls provided by your operating system.
Because the developer does not collect or store this information, the developer cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.
Children’s Privacy
DayRate does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Security
DayRate relies on Apple’s platform security and app sandboxing to protect locally stored app data. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should avoid entering information that is not needed to calculate or track your work.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated if DayRate’s features or privacy practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Any material change to data-collection practices will also be reflected in the app’s App Store privacy disclosures.
