LookMatch is developed by [YOUR LEGAL NAME OR COMPANY] (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how LookMatch handles information when you use the app.

SUMMARY

LookMatch does not require an account.

LookMatch does not contain advertising or third-party tracking software.

LookMatch does not upload your photos, camera images, videos, or facial landmarks to our servers.

The app’s image processing and Smart Align functionality operate on your device.

INFORMATION PROCESSED BY THE APP

Camera

LookMatch uses the camera to provide its live comparison view. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not transmitted to us.

If you use Freeze, the selected camera frame is held temporarily within the app. It is discarded when you resume the camera, replace it, or close the app unless you explicitly save an exported image or video.

Photos

LookMatch uses Apple’s system photo picker to let you choose a reference image. The app receives only the image you select.

Reference images are used within the current app session and are not uploaded to us.

When you tap Save or finish a recording, LookMatch saves the resulting image or video to Photos only after you request it and grant the necessary permission.

Facial landmarks and Smart Align

Smart Align uses Apple’s on-device Vision technology to detect facial landmarks, including the approximate position of the eyes.

This processing is used only to align the reference image with the live camera image. LookMatch does not identify individuals, perform facial recognition, create a biometric identity profile, or transmit facial landmark information off your device.

Recordings

Where recording is available, LookMatch can create a silent video of the comparison canvas. LookMatch does not access the microphone and does not record audio.

Videos remain on your device and are saved to Photos only when you request it.

Locally stored information

LookMatch may store limited preferences and counters on your device, such as interface settings and whether the app has previously requested an App Store review.

This information is not sent to us and is removed when the app and its associated local data are deleted.

DATA COLLECTION

We do not collect personal data from the LookMatch app.

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, or third-party profiling services in the app.

We do not sell or share app user data with advertisers or data brokers.

APPLE SERVICES

LookMatch uses Apple system services for features such as camera access, photo selection, saving to Photos, and App Store review requests.

Apple may process information relating to App Store downloads, purchases, device permissions, and reviews under Apple’s own privacy policy. That information is not transmitted to us by LookMatch except for any aggregated information Apple makes available to developers.

SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS

If you contact us for support, we will receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, message, and any attachments.

We use this information only to respond to your request, investigate problems, and improve LookMatch. We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or to meet legal obligations.

You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Photos and camera frames processed by LookMatch are not retained by us.

You control exported images and videos through the Photos app and can delete them there.

You can revoke Camera or Photos permission at any time in your device’s Settings.

Deleting LookMatch removes information stored locally within the app’s container. It does not automatically delete images or videos you previously exported to Photos.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

LookMatch does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal information from any app user, it does not create accounts or profiles for children.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy if LookMatch’s features or data practices change. The revised policy will include an updated effective date.

If we add analytics, advertising, cloud processing, accounts, or other data collection in the future, we will update this policy and the app’s App Store privacy disclosures before those changes are released.
